From manway to tank outlet
Components matched to your tank’s function, dimensions and operating conditions.
Manways and tank covers
Access for inspection and maintenance, with suitable covers and seals. We consider shape, opening, mounting position, material and tank pressure conditions.
Tank fittings
Including sight glasses and pressure or vacuum protection components. We match the selection to the tank specifications and your technical manager’s requirements.
Tank bottom valves
For product flows at the tank outlet, with suitable actuation and seals. The required configuration depends on the process and connection.

Your mixing objective determines the technology
Keeping products moving, mixing liquids or adding powders each requires a different approach.
We select based on tank geometry, fill level, product properties and required mixing time.
Agitators and mixers
Alfa Laval agitators and mixing solutions, matched to your tank and required mixing result.
Rotary Jet Mixer
Mixing with liquid jets through a circulation loop. Depending on the application, also suitable for distributing gas or powder and cleaning tanks.
Powders and ingredients
Want to add powder or distribute ingredients? Send the product composition, required capacity and mixing objective. We assess which mixing solution suits your process.
03 · CLEANING
Tank cleaning matched to residues and tank geometry
The tank cleaner is one part of your CIP process: Cleaning-in-Place.
Static spray balls
A fixed spray pattern applies cleaning liquid to the tank wall. Suitability depends on factors such as soiling, coverage and available cleaning conditions.
Rotary spray heads
A rotating spray pattern distributes the cleaning liquid. Alfa Laval offers various versions for hygienic tank applications.
Rotary jet heads
Directed jets provide mechanical cleaning action. The Alfa Laval TJ range rotates around two axes to create a repeatable cleaning pattern.
Consider the entire tank
Agitators, baffles and connections can shield parts of the tank. Their positions, available CIP pressure and flow rate therefore matter too. Cleaning results must be assessed and validated within your own process.
